Winter Wildlife Tracking
Following an animal’s tracks can teach us a lot about who lives in our woods and their behavior. Come join us as we search for animal tracks and identify which animals have been active and what they were up to. We will look for tracks and other signs from animals such as raccoons, foxes, coyotes, owls, turkeys, white-tailed deer, weasels and more! Come explore the woods around the school and learn more about the local mammals of Berlin.

The Winter Wildlife Tracking after school program will be offered on Wednesday afternoons, beginning on January 30th. It will run for 5 weeks, from 3:05 – 4:30 pm with no classes on February 20th and March 6th. The program fee is $80, and checks can be made out to LINK.

We will meet after school in the cafeteria, and then will spend the majority of time outside. Please send warm clothes and boots to school with your child.

What to Wear/Bring: Students should wear a warm winger coat, snow pants, and warm boots. Hats and mittens, and weather appropriate clothing is also recommended. Students can change into their warm clothes before heading out on our walk.
